  Delicious food here! My boyfriend and I dropped by here on our way out of Halifax. We were able to order from both the lunch and dinner specials in the menu, despite going at lunch time. We ordered the Dan Dan noodles and ginger-sesame beef stir fry specials. The portions are huge for the price you pay. My boyfriend enjoyed his meal, but would likely order a different dish if we ever went back. I would reorder the noodles in a heartbeat! Flavour of the broth, and amount of noodles and meat could tie you over for a while. Interior was clean with lots of seating available. Washrooms were clean as well. Service was quick and unassuming. All in all, if I'm ever back in the area I wouldn't hesitate to return.

  As a Chinese person growing up in Toronto and Hong Kong, I can definitely say that Fan's is an amazing place for Cantonese style Chinese food. Their dim sum is fresh and is clearly made in-house and their regular menu far surpasses anything that could pass as Chinese food in the city of Halifax. I have tried a huge variety of their food before even wanting to make a final assessment and I have also been around Halifax trying out all the Chinese restaurants out there. This one is within the top 2 of my list. This review applies for the region of Halifax only as I think it would be unfair to grade it according to restaurants worldwide. The chef is from Macau where I have worked for 2 years and it really shows in the food he makes, no compromises, great standards = great food.

  Best Chinese Restaurant in Halifax. Great and fresh dim sum selection. 流沙包 (Molten Custard Lava Bun) is definitely worth trying! Friendly staff and great place! Love their authentic 廣東菜( Canto Dishes)!

  My parents have always gone here...and its farther away from them. Us too but the food is just so damn good. Service is great and they have such a selection. Better then ole chicken balls and neon cherry sauce. More authentic. Nice atmosphere and prices are good.
